How old are you and where do you come from?

I am 26 years old, come from Kelheim and live in Regensburg where I'd like to stay.

What are you studying, and how does the work at SYSKRON help you with your studies?

I'm in the 3rd semester of my master's in media information technology. The studies provide the foundation, but practice always proves to be very different from theory. My time as a working student at SYSKRON enables me to deepen my areas of personal interest and gain practical experience. In addition, I was offered the opportunity to write my master's thesis here.

What does your job at SYSKRON entail?

I am a working student in the UI/UX team, which means I help to develop new concepts and build prototypes.

How would you describe a typical working day?

There isn't actually any such thing as a typical working day, the only routines are the weekly coordination meetings with my team.

What attracted you to the job?

The young team, the products and also the location. I am only working on Maxstraße, so it's a very short distance from home and it doesn't take long to get to the university either.

How do you spend your lunchbreak? Do you buy food or bring your own?

Usually I bring my own food and spend the lunchbreak with my colleagues in the office.

A lot of

What do you like best here?

At SYSKRON there's a good working atmosphere, it's very like a family. The tasks vary enormously. I also enjoy a lot of freedom. For instance, I determine my own working days and can also decide for myself what time I start at or finish.

Night owl or early bird?

Night owl at the weekend, early bird during the week so I can get home earlier.

What items – apart from your work equipment – do you always take with you to work?

I always take food, a phone charger and headphones with me. Other things that I always have with me – such as my mug– always stand on the desk, I don't bother taking them home.

And after work? What do you do to relax?

I enjoy running and doing Everfits Outdoor Training with my colleague Laura. I also enjoy doing things with my boyfriend or other friends.

Marlene supports the development of new concepts and creates prototypes.

What has been your most exciting experience at SYSKRON?

The move to Maxstraße was really very exciting. We didn't know when and how the move would take place, and only discovered three days beforehand that it was on. Also very exciting, but especially lovely, was when Rudi started with us.

Who is in your team, and how are the areas of responsibility divided up?

My team consists of Eva, Elli and Chris. We handle everything to do with user experience and the interface of Share2Act, so design and colours as well.

Would you recommend SYSKRON as an employer to others?

Yes, especially for the great freedom and the good working atmosphere. It's also an innovative company, things happen much faster than they would in a group, where everything often has to go through several levels.

Your desk: messy or Monk?

What is the most exciting thing about your job?

The variety.

What TV hero would you like to be?

Pippi Longstocking.

If money were no object, what would you have done last weekend?

I would have employed a moving company.
